Still at 127.8 after a brief dip down to the 126 range yesterday. I am sure Chinese food for lunch had something to do with that. It's ok, it was worth it....
Yesterday was insane crazy busy beyond belief. I was at the knee doctor bright and early. As if on command my knee popped as he was doing the exam, although there was no pain associated with it this time. He said I have about 20% laxity in my knee and it could be meniscus; which would only require that I manage the pain (he has a torn meniscus too that he hasn't had fixed.) Or it could be the MCL. He sent me for an MRI. I told him it wouldn't do any good to discuss options and freak me out until we know for sure what we are dealing with. My doctor's appointment was done at 9 and my MRI was at 11. So I went to Kohl's and just kind of messed around for awile waiting for my appointment. I ended up buying a pair of Vera Wang trouser jeans in a size 4 really cheap. They are a little big but they look really nice. Made it to the MRI a little early and read my Kindle to waste time. I left that place at 12 and stopped at a Chinese take out place on my way back to my office (my new favorite dish, Kung Fu chicken. Not sure what it is but man it was good). I got to the office about 12:30 or a little after and was handed a reem of paper and told I had a meeting at 1:00. I don't eat food quickly very well anymore . I ended up in three meetings and had to eat my food in a few bites between each meeting. Doesn't look like today is going to be much better but I should be able to at least take time for lunch .
In knee news, Dennis and I went to the store last night. He was looking at something at the end of the aisle and I had walk ahead to almost the end of the aisle. My knee popped again, this time so loud Dennis said that people two aisles over could have heard it. It felt great for about an hour before it started locking up/going out again. So freaking strange. This morning it has already started up again. I thought for a breif time that I was better but not so much.
I have an appointment with the knee doctor Monday at 2:10 to find out what the MRI said. I am really happy with how fast they are getting this done. The doctor said he didn't want me to miss out on the RNR half if it was something he thought that we could fix pretty easily, but he did say it wasn't soft tissue, it was for sure something in the mechanics of my knee. Can't wait to find out....
In the mean time, I have started cleaning out my closet and getting rid of my too big clothes. I have a friend at work who had gastric bypass. I gave her all my 10's. I have a few 14's that I am giving my Mom this weekend. Me and my sister are going to shopping at Marshall's and Ross to see if I can find some clothes that fit. I am down to almost nothing. My mom still hasn't acknowledged that I have lost any weight. She said she was going to a consignment store that is going out of business. I told her that if she found any 4's, particularly Ann Taylor or Loft to get them for me and I would pay her back. All she said was smart ass. Not sure what it will take for me to get a "gosh Terrie, you look really good. I can tell you have worked hard". But I guess that is too much to ask. Funny becuase I am starting to have people tell me not to lose any more or I will be too skinny (cracks me up every time because I still see myself as big) but my Mom won't say a word.
