1. This time last year was when I seriously started to consider lap band and doing research. I told Dennis about my decision over Easter weekend of last year and he was very supportive. I had no clue that a year later I would be 55 pounds down and wearing a size 2.
2. I fell like I need a fill but I am going to hold off until my scheduled appointment April 30. I am running a 10k Saturday, a 10 mile race next Saturday and a half marathon two weeks after that. I may need the extra calories.
3. I had my yearly viginacologist apointment today. I went shopping afterwards to help me forget the feeling of being violated, lol. I bought mostly small shirts, size 2 pants and a size 4 dress. Wow, last year at this time I was pushing a 16.
4. This is the dress I bought. For the first time in a very long time I think I look almost skinny!!! I still need some spanx for the tummy.
5. This picture was taken right before I started my liquid diet. Yup I can finally see the change in myself. No level of spanx would help that.
6. Monday at 10:45 I have to go for my first mamogram. I go back to the exercise physiologist at 1:30 to get my results. I may just take off work after 10:15, doesn't hardly seem worth the gas to drive across town when the offices are right next to one another and I could go shopping again ;-O
7. I am supposed to run with a different girl from work today for the first time. It always makes me nervous to run with new people because I am so slow. Not sure if I am afraid they will kick my butt or make fun of me for calling myself a "runner"
8. I am stuck on the last book in the Hunger Games series. I read the first two books in a couple of days, not that I loved them that much, they are just fast reads. For some reason I just can't get into this one. But dang it I am going to finish it just because it is the last one. I think the movie was better then the book but only becuase I read the book and I'm not sure if it would have been good otherwise. Does that make any sense whatsoever?
9. I have to go to the in-laws this weekend for Easter. They haven't really seen them since Christmas.
10. Reese's peanut butter eggs are a product of hell. Just sayin'.

Size 2??? Wow. I don't ever remember being in a size 2...I think I went straight from kid sizes to 5 or so middle school/high school. I am short like you, but I don't think my butt would ever get in a 2. I have always had too much junk in my trunk...even when I was thin :)
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE SKINNY! Believe it, girl! You look mah-va-lous!
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome! And #8... right there with ya! Still haven't seen the movie yet.
ReplyDeleteGotta agree with #10. As for hunger games though, I dunno what to say about that I loved them all. ;)
